Resort Trends ´13

here I want to show u some trends for next summer, enjoy!

NOUVEAU BOHO - GYPSY

From Altuzarra's covetable peasant blouses to haute folksy dresses at Givenchy, designers gave the gypsy look a glam twist.

GREAT JEANS - DENIM

Denim makes the day-to-night transition, with faded petticoat dresses from Chanel, slick tailored suits at Gucci, and Proenza Schouler's new capsule of well-priced jeans.

MARCHING ORDERS - MILITARY

Cargo pockets turned up here, there, and everywhere in military-inspired lineups from Emilio Pucci, Pedro Lourenço, and Burberry Prorsum.

SHEER BLISS

The transparency trend is taking new forms. Celine's Phoebe Philo and Stella McCartney both featured see-through panels and overlays that put the subtle in sheer.

KNEE DEEP - LONG SHORTS

After years of cutoffs, fashion flipped the switch. Alexander Wang and Acne stretched hemlines past the knee and kept silhouettes relaxed for a slightly androgynous look.

BIG GAME THEORY - SAFARI

Leopards and tigers and giraffes, oh my! Derek Lam and Giambattista Valli led the pack of designers showing updated animal prints.

SIXTEEN CANDLES

Full-skirted party frocks of the sort seen at Valentino, Jason Wu, and Prabal Gurung aren't just for teenagers. Tiaras optional.

HOLOGRAPHIC CONTENT

Up-and-comers like Dion Lee and Peter Pilotto stepped into the future with holographic materials with a sci-fi feel.

TWO FOR ONE - TUNIC
From The Row to Roksanda Ilincic, designers are still getting behind the tunic-over-pants look.
